The Blaster Design Factory outside of BBW250 will be having its soft opening this Friday. There will be a design workshop at 2pm and a design competition through out the afternoon.

The Blaster Design factory will act as the central hub of a hub and spoke model meant to connect the existing maker spaces on campus. Operated by the Maker Society, the space will feature prototyping materials and space to develop project ideas.

The space is open to all majors on campus and is a great opportunity for students to gain training and express their creativity through their innovations.

The soft opening this Friday will be followed by the implementation of additional machines and material leading up to a late fall Grand opening.
