MINDFUL MONDAYS 5/3 @ 3 pm MT
Department / Organization: Counseling Center
LAST SESSION of The Semester: Try Some Mindfulness Meditation To Calm Your Mind!
What is mindfulness? It's paying attention to your present moment experiences with openness, curiosity, and a willingness to be with what is. It's a great way to boost your concentration, feel more engaged in your life, and manage stressful experiences with greater ease.
The group is facilitated from a secular, evidence-based perspective and incorporates relevant research whenever possible. Facilitators include staff from various departments on campus and students who are involved with OMM (Organization of Meditators at Mines).
Here’s what to expect each week: -Short introduction to that day's topic -15 - 20 minute guided meditation -Brief check-in/Q&A
Whether you're brand new to meditation or mindfulness or already have an established practice, we'd love to have you! All Mines students, faculty and staff are welcome – come as you are!
