New Harassment and Discrimination Training for Employees
Department / Organization: Title IX/Human Resources
Harassment Prevention – Higher Education training is available on our online learning management platform.
As a community, it is important that we remind ourselves on a yearly basis about how to prevent, address, and report situations involving harassing and discriminatory conduct. Each spring semester, you will be assigned a rotating training about these topics.
The training this year is Harassment Prevention – Higher Education, available on our online learning management platform (steps to access the training are below). There are two versions of the training, a Manager module (approximately 50 minutes) and an Employee module (approximately 30 minutes). You will be assigned a module by the end of the week based on your role on campus. We encourage you to complete this training by Friday, May 28.
The training will help us all create a safer, more inclusive campus community. It will also help you distinguish unlawful discriminatory/harassing conduct from inappropriate workplace conduct. We want an environment free of both types of behaviors, but it is important to understand the distinction and the various reporting options.
Steps to access the training: 1. Log in to Percipio via https://mines.percipio.com/ 2. The course can be located by clicking your name in the top right and then “compliance” in this menu. 3. Employees will receive notifications about the course until it is completed.
