Join the Cat Walk to raise awarness for Big Cat conservation
Department / Organization: Saudi Students Club
Walk 4.5 miles anywhere you want to raise awarness about Big Cat conservation! Visit the link for more information.
With the successful birth of the Arabian Leopard, Catmosphere started to begin its campaigns to raise awareness about Big Cats conservation. Their first campaign is the Cat Walk, which is to walk a distance of 7Km, or around 4.5 miles, anywhere you want (whether for on-campus or in a nearby park for your morning jog). However, the Saudi Students Club is going to meet on Saturday the 6th of November at 3 P.M. in Sloan's Lake (free beverages are going to be provided!). Also, this event is promoting to live a healthier lifestyle since a quarter of the world's population are at health risks from not doing sufficient physical exercise. To register and for more information regarding the event, please visit https://catmosphere.org/register/. Hope you can all participate and raise awareness about the importance of maintaining our ecosystem, including our lovely neighbors, the Pumas, that live nearby our area.
Mines and the Saudi Students Club welcome individuals with disabilities. If you require an accommodation in order to participate in this event, please contact Abdulaziz Alsheraim two days before the event at alsheraim@mines.edu. Advance notice may be necessary to arrange for some accessibility needs.
