Call for NSF Graduate Research Assistant

Join us to study interdisciplinary collaboration with students and faculty from STEM and humanities
Are you interested in interdisciplinary engagements that bring together students and faculty from STEM and humanities? Are you interested in learning qualitative research methods, and participating in a small cohort of students and faculty from diverse disciplines around ethical, social, and political questions related to science and technology in society?
Apply to become a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Assistant for 2022-2023 by Friday July 15. Graduate fellows will: ? Join our CREATE/STS research team ? Participate in a research study that involves participant observation and regular reflections ? Participate as a research assistant, which involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing qualitative data ? Help plan and facilitate hybrid workshops with participating faculty ? Develop a collaborative publication and present at a conference ? Contribute approximately 5 hours/week for 15 weeks per semester, for both fall and spring for a total of 75 hours each semester. Graduate fellows will be compensated $25/hour, for a total of $3750.
Requirements: ? Have graduate student standing for the 2022-2023 academic year ? Be able to participate in the planning meetings and attend the faculty workshops (scheduling TBD) Preferred: • HES coursework
