Victim Outreach Incorporated (VOI) promotes the healing of people impacted by crime and trauma in Jefferson, CO. They are looking for volunteers to ensure that victims have compassionate, informed support in the immediate aftermath of their experience.
Volunteer advocates are called by police to respond on-scene overnight or on weekends. They provide emotional support during a crisis, share information and resources, and are a crucial first step to victims starting on a path of healing and recovery. They are looking for volunteers to ensure that victims have compassionate, informed support in the immediate aftermath of their experience.
No experience required; VOI will provide 40 hours of advocate training, reference materials, and ongoing learning opportunities.
