Especially for candidates with an environmental focus
Department / Organization: UHSP
Sophomores and juniors are eligible for national scholarships- why not apply??
Attention Sophomores, Juniors AND GRAD STUDENTS: Now that you have some time to relax, why not consider a scholarship that you could win. For example the Udall Foundation is looking for leaders, with a public environmental service interest. Application closes on March 1. If interested, contact Kay Gengenbach.
Or you might consider a summer research opportunity in Germany which has both undergrad and grad research opportunities- The DAAD RISE application is available now and must be completed by the end of January (specific dates for submission depend on which program is selected. -
(And faculty - if you have a student or two who would be good candidates for a scholarship - please send them an email suggesting they should consider applying for a national scholarship.)
Contact: Kay Gengenbach to help you get started. I'll be checking my email over the break - usually in the morning so you are welcome to send me an email knowing that you will get a response.
The Fellowship Office exists to help you identify national scholarships that meet your goals as a scientist, scholar or creator of solutions. The Fellowship Office (Stratton 305) works with over 25 external scholarship programs. Surely there is a national scholarship or fellowship that matches your goals.
