State of Colorado Advanced Industries RFPs now open

The Proof of Concept RFP is open now and will be due March 1st. Infrastructure grants will open on February 1st and be due April 1st.

The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced it is accepting applications for the Advanced Industries (AI) Accelerator Grant program. Proof of Concept and Early-Stage Capital and Retention applications are due March 1, online at choosecolorado.com.
Proof of Concept grants are open to Colorado research universities, federal labs located in Colorado, and other labs with valid technology transfer offices. These grants are for pre-commercialization research and commercialization preparation. Grants up to $150,000 will be awarded.
The application process for infrastructure grants will open on Feb. 1, and applications will be due on April 1. Infrastructure grants provide state funding to collaborative projects that will have a broad industry-wide impact across one or more of Colorado's advanced industries.
Past recipients include Colorado companies and universities with technologies that could improve 3D printing, doctor/patient interactions and farming. Applications are reviewed by committees of business, technical and financial experts, as well as by an industry-specific reviewer.
Colorado's advanced industries include aerospace, advanced manufacturing, bioscience, electronics, energy and natural resources, infrastructure engineering, and technology and information.
