Abstract submission for MODFLOW and More 2017: “Modeling for Sustainability and Adaptation” is open
Department / Organization: GE/IGWMC
The Integrated GroundWater Modeling Center will be hosting this conference on groundwater modeling on May 21-24, 2017 in the Green Center at CSM.
MODFLOW and More is a groundwater modeling conference hosted by the Integrated GroundWater Modeling Center at CSM every other year. In 2015, we had 280 attendees from government, industry, and academia from around the world, presenting on a variety of challenges encountered in hydrologic modeling. The scientific program consists of around 200 poster presentations, 75 oral presentations and 20 keynote presentations given from some of the most prominent researchers in hydrologic science. Additionally, we will host the 2017 Birdsall-Dreiss lecture, and our very own Dr. Kamini Singha will be giving the 2017 Darcy Lecture! For more information on MODFLOW and More and topics for the scientific program, please visit our website at http://igwmc.mines.edu/MODFLOW2017.html
The deadline for submitting abstracts is Friday, January 20 at midnight MDT.
Also, CSM students who volunteer for the conference (4-6 hours total) get free admission! More on that closer to the conference date...
