Duygu has joined Mines Online as the Industry Partnership Lead for Continuing & Executive Education

Duygu Yalaz joins Mines Online as the Industry Partnership Lead for Continuing & Executive Education. She is transitioning from Mines’ Career Center. Please join us in welcoming her to the new role and team. You can learn about the team at: https://olfaculty.mines.edu/about/

Prior to joining Mines Online, Duygu served as the Associate Director of Career Advising and Professional Development at Mines Career Center. Her 15 years of background includes leading strategic partnerships, data management and people management initiatives in higher-ed career services and human resources in industry. In her prior roles, she developed partnerships with industry experts and continually grew expert pool from Mines alums and leaders in STEM. She is one of the Humanitarian Engineering and Sciences Ambassadors Committee members and a DIA Ambassador at Mines.

Duygu’s disciplinary background is in psychology. In 2007, she earned her MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Koc University in Istanbul. In her current role as the Industry Partnership Lead for Continuing and Executive Education, she will establish partnerships with companies in targeted industries to inform the development of Mines’ Continuing and Professional Education Programs.
