Are you interested in using your skills to design technology which helps others?
Department / Organization: Assistive Technology & Adaptive Equipment Club
The ATAE Club focuses on opportunities where you can learn about individuals and help with hands on projects for people who have various disabilities.
Join fellow students who are passionate about creating devices, technologies, or just learning about others who need a little (or a lot of) help getting back on the snow, into the water, or rock climbing.
We work on real life projects, tailored to groups who provide opportunities for sports and outdoor recreation for people with disabilities, as well as to individuals. Some of our projects include an adjustable frame for waterskiing, a sled for skiing, and working on testing equipment and materials for designs.
We have opportunities for any engineering discipline, or interest. Come check out what's happening at the next meeting! Check us out on OrgSync!
