Grand Challenges Scholars Program applications due 3/10
Department / Organization: University Honors & Scholars
Choose a pathway through Mines that adds. depth and breadth. Plus get certification from the National Academy of Engineering!
The Grand Challenges Scholars Program (GCSP) is accepting applications from all Mines students through March 10th. Join a community of scholars aiming to be world-changers as you find meaning, pursue your interests, and integrate your coursework, extra-curricular activities and clubs, minors, and more into your personalized pathway. GCSP will help you improve your capabilities in five areas key for solving the complex problems of today. Become more of an interdisciplinary thinker, learn from serving and leading, build entrepreneurship skills, become more globally aware, and build your abilities through research/project experiences. Completion of the program requirements results in an honor cord, recognition from employers that you have skills they are looking for, and certification from the National Academy of Engineering!
The Scholars' program is open for anyone to apply to, and is a great way to compile the things you are already doing (such as McBride, University Innovation Fellows, the Maker Society, E-VOLVE, design challenges, Undergraduate Research, and more) into a meaningful college experience. The adventure is yours to design! Apply to join this community of scholars today. Deadline is March 10th.
