ABSTRACT: Yangming’s current research focuses on understanding how engineering information visualization influences and regulates the development and retrieval of working memory, i.e., the short-term and temporary storage of information, and ultimately affects the performance in complex construction operations (e.g., pipefitting). This presentation will introduce serval developed VR systems, VR-based human-subject experiments, human-robot collaboration experiments, and the findings from eye-tracking analysis and NeuroErgonomics analysis (fNIRS).
