Sterbick, the team’s offensive coordinator since January 2019, had been the interim head coach while Mines searched for someone new to lead the program. Sterbick’s time as offensive coordinator has been instrumental to the team’s recent successes, helping Mines to consecutive regional titles and a trip to the 2022 NCAA Division II national championship game.
