For PIs: NSF New Document Requirements!
Department / Organization: ORA
No more saved templates – NSF requires use of SciENcv
Say goodbye to the NSF templates for the biosketch and current & pending, and hello to SciENcv! NSF is eliminating their templates and requiring the use of SciENcv starting October 23, 2023. SciENcv (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sciencv/) is an NSF-approved tool that must be used to prepare biosketches and current & pending support documents for all senior personnel on NSF proposals. Whether you are creating a document for the first time or modifying an existing document, NSF’s integration with SciENcv ensures that your personnel documents are always current.
You can find more detailed information and resources compiled by ORA on our website at: https://ora.mines.edu/home/manage-award/sciencv/ The NSF has also created a helpful guide for accessing and using SciENcv, available at: https://www.research.gov/common/attachment/Desktop/SciENcv-FAQs.pdf
If you have questions, contact your Proposal Analyst or email proposals@mines.edu.
