Win Prizes and IBM Merch! Quantum Hackathon!
Department / Organization: Society of Quantum Engineers
THIS WEEK the Society of Quantum Engineers is Quantum Computing activities for beginners and experts alike! Come join us!
What is it? The Qiskit Fall Fest is an international series of events sponsored by IBM on college campuses, and we have the honor of hosting a Partner event with IBM on this endeavor. The purpose of this event is to provide a fun competition in Quantum Computing in the form of a Hackathon, as well as to teach people about what Quantum Computing is and how to program with IBM’s quantum programming language: Qiskit.
Who is it for? All levels of experience with Quantum Computing are welcome and encouraged to participate! We have workshops for both beginner and intermediate participants to get everyone on the same page.
When is it? See below (or on our website link) for a full schedule! The Hackathon opens Monday (10/24) and closes Friday (10/28). You can sign up for the hackathon here. Throughout the week we’ll have rooms booked that you can use to meet with your team to work together! Teams can be up to 5 people. Only one submission is required per team, with the inclusion of all team members' names.
