But this door wasn’t locked before! Building access changes
Department / Organization: Access Services All academic buildings now lock at 8 pm Monday-Friday, with Blastercard access til 10:30pm for all students, faculty, staff
Effective Tuesday, Oct. 24, weekday access to academic buildings on campus has changed: On weekdays (Monday-Friday), all academic buildings will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. After 8 p.m., buildings will be locked – but your trusty Blastercard will still grant you access until 10:30 p.m. weeknights for all those late-night study sessions and projects. From 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Monday-Friday, only Orediggers with Blastercard access granted by their building proctor will be able to badge into buildings. Buildings impacted by the new weekday hours are Alderson, Berthoud, Brown, Chauvenet, Coolbaugh, CoorsTek, CTLM, Engineering, Engineering Annex, GRL, GRL-A, Green, Hill, Marquez, McNeil and Stratton. Other buildings on campus, including the Student Center, Arthur Lakes Library and Student Rec Center, are not impacted by the change.
