We invite all faculty, staff, students, and community members to the brown bag conversations. The theme this week is about Museum Collections, Special Collections, and Archives at CSM
The Arthur Lakes Library invites all faculty, staff, students, and community members to a series of eight brown bag lunch conversations centered around MIT’s influential October 2016 Future of Libraries Taskforce Report (https://future-of-libraries.mit.edu/). Your input on emerging library services and functions is essential to inform the library’s current strategic planning efforts and guide ongoing physical library renovation plans.
This week we will discuss MIT Recommendations 1, 8, 9 – Museum Collections, Special Collections, and Archives at CSM. We will discuss how the Library and the Geology Museum plan to ensure a long-term stewardship, preservation, and worldwide sharing of the library and museums’ unique holdings.
This is part six (12pm, 2/15) of a series of eight brown bag lunch conversations. We look forward to seeing you Every Wednesday between 12pm-1pm, January 11 – March 1, 2017 at the Boettcher Room, Arthur Lakes Library. Bring your lunch and we will provide beverages.
