Last Week to Register for Intro to Powerlifting Class

Learn how to safely perform the three major lifts including squat, deadlift, and bench in this 10-week course.
Intro to Powerlifting is a class designed to help anyone interested in gaining strength, confidence, and knowledge within the sport- so they can feel ready to compete on their own. Pre and post surveys as well as fitness testing will be implemented to measure the effectiveness of the program.
Here is what you need to know:
·There will be three sections: - Faculty/ Staff: Mondays and Wednesdays from 12-12:50pm. (12 spots available) - Faculty/ Staff: Mondays and Wednesdays from 8-8:50am. (12 spots available) - Students: Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-5:50pm. (12 spots available) ·Class takes place in the Motion Lab in Spruce Hall and will start the week of 1/29. ·Registration will remain open now through Friday, January 26th. ·An active SRC membership is required to participate in all small group training courses.
