Department / Organization: Admissions
Awesome summer job opportunity with the Admissions department including room and board in June 2024!
Mines Admissions is currently seeking engaging and enthusiastic undergraduate and graduate students to apply as mentors for the Summer Multicultural Engineering Training (SUMMET) program in June 2024. This residential summer camp is designed for high school students from underrepresented backgrounds with a passion for STEM. As a mentor, you'll oversee activities, provide leadership, and offer mentorship to participants. Room and board will be provided. Interested candidates are invited to apply through the provided workday posting.
A SUMMET Resident Mentor is a student hired to be a present and active participant in all SUMMET activities during the 3 weeks of the SUMMET residential Program. There may be an overnight component involved if mentors are interested in housing during the month of June. SUMMET Mentors operate in the same way as a summer camp counselor would.
