Job/McAuliffe Perseverance Award: Call for Nominations Department / Organization: Applied Mathematics & Statistics The Job/McAuliffe Award recognizes and honors Carol Job and Sharon McAuliffe, both of whom put a tremendous amount of effort into supporting students who struggled in their initial coursework or student life at Mines and ultimately became successful students due to the effort and attention of caring faculty. Past recipients of this award have been recognized for their ability to persevere through personal and/or academic adversity and ultimately succeed at the Colorado School of Mines. We are pleased to announce a call for nominations to honor individuals who have demonstrated resilience, perseverance, and academic success. If you, or someone you know, has struggled, yet has overcome those struggles and succeeded in spite of them, this award seeks to celebrate that individual and honor their journey and accomplishments. To submit a nomination, please forward the following information to amsweb@mines.edu: 1. Nominee’s Name 2. Brief Description (250 words or less) summarizing the nominee’s struggles and successes, and 3. (Optional) Your name and contact information.
