Mines Admissions is hiring Student Ambassadors for Summer 2024!
The Student Ambassador Program is a leadership program that allows Mines students to represent and promote Colorado School of Mines to prospective students, families, and guests. Student Ambassadors (SAs) lead campus tours, assist admissions staff with programming, and facilitate tasks during Preview Mines and Discover Mines. Student Ambassadors are pivotal members of the Admissions team and are frequently the initial point of contact for prospective and incoming students; therefore, a Student Ambassador must uphold the Mines mission to promote education and research in STEM and support enrollment initiatives to create a more diverse and inclusive campus community.
Main Responsibilities: Give campus tours Assist with large recruitment events (keep in mind most of these events will take place during the Spring and Fall Semesters): Discover Mines, Explore Mines, Athletic Tours
Benefits: Develop leadership and communication skills. Work on a fun, flexible team. Share your passion for Mines with prospective students and families. Opportunities for advancement into an Executive Student Position.
Pay: $14.50/HR Increases to $15.50/HR after 2 semesters consecutively completed (summer session counts as a semester) We do not require work-study but we do accept it if you have it!
