Mines for Recovery & Awareness End-of-Semester Celebration!
Department / Organization: Mines for Recovery and Awareness
Come celebrate your sobriety journey with food and friendship TODAY - Tues 4/23 at 4PM in MZ 231!
We welcome current members and interested students to join us for our celebration of accomplishments and our collective strength this academic year. We will share food and fun together as we recognize our graduating members, welcome new members, and discuss plans for the summer. Please email ajcamarata@mines.edu if you have accommodations.
Mines for Recovery and Awareness aims to:
Offer a platform for Mines students to share and receive peer support in an understanding environment.
Create awareness and foster conversations about choices related to alcohol and drugs.
We warmly invite the following students: i. Those in recovery. ii. Individuals exploring their relationship with alcohol/drugs. iii. Anyone curious about or questioning their alcohol/drug habits. iv. Those who have experienced challenges with substance use. v. Persons eager to gain insights to help a friend, peer, or family member.
Our community is voluntary, respects anonymity, and is driven by both students and Mines alumni. Please join us!
We recognize the unique journeys individuals take in exploring their relationship with alcohol and drugs. Mines for Recovery and Awareness seeks to provide an inclusive and compassionate space for all students, whether you’re sober-curious, sober by choice, in recovery, or simply seeking to understand better and support those around you.
