LIVE FROM PALESTINE&ISRAEL:HUMANANITARIAN CRISIS /FREE LUNCH
Department / Organization: Muslim Students Association / Mines SDS
Event will have speakers from Gaza, West Bank, and Israel proper. Free lunch will be provided.
MSA and Mines SDS invite members of the Mines community to hear authentic voices on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank. This event aims to help our collective understanding of the current living conditions of ordinary Palestinians through different speakers from these territories. By raising awareness, we hope to inspire the audience to recognize their roles as global citizens, and to consider how they can contribute to positive change.
The event will be held on April 29th, 12 - 2 pm in person (Berthoud Hall 243) and virtually (link provided below). There will be some traditional food for the in-person attendees.
