Do you LOVE maps? Come work in the Library's Map Room

Qualifications: Do you LOVE maps? Then this is the job for you. Working in the Map Room requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. We will be shifting and moving most of the map collection this summer so you must be able to move boxes and large piles of maps. You must be able to reach all the map drawers--from a height of a few inches to above your shoulders. Job Description: Most of this summer’s work will involve the shifting of the entire map collection. There will be routine tasks including filing maps and books, processing new maps, encapsulating maps in mylar, and working in the Library’s database. Love of maps is a must!! 10 hours per week. $14.50 per hour.
