Sign up and let’s climb the leaderboard for Mines! The more people who sign up the higher we climb!
Let’s do our part for our air, our bodies and our campus! Sign up to log your commute on the official Bike to Work link from the State of Colorado. https://biketoworkday.co/ Please check the box that says Join the Business Challenge, scroll down and choose Colorado School of Mines.
You can also find Stations to visit on your way to campus. They usually have snacks, schwag and good people waiting to encourage you on your ride. You will also find lots of information for beginners, routes and tips on safety and more.
The City of Golden will be hosting a Bike to Work Day Super Station from 6:30am to 9:30am at Vanover Park. The event will include activations from the Colorado Mountain Club, Bike Walk Golden, the Golden Optimists, Colorado School of Mines, Golden Mill, Movement Climbing Gym, Pedego Bikes, and Kona Bowls! They will have breakfast, coffee, and raffle prizes! They will be drawing raffle prizes every 15 minutes. Bring a bag to carry your schwag!
The Mines Office of Sustainability, Outdoor Rec Center, Swimming and Student Life are sponsoring an arrival station (location to be revealed soon!) from 7:45-9:00am on Wednesday, June 26. We’ll have breakfast burritos, coffee and lots of information for those who Bike to Work or those who are Bike to Work curious. Watch the message boards and the Daily Blast on June 24 for the location. We want you to Bike to Work!
