Colorado Center for Advanced Ceramics Conference
Department / Organization: CCAC
Free ceramics conference on Mines Campus! Abstract deadline June 28th - Oral talks and posters accepted!
The Colorado Center for Advanced Ceramics (CCAC) Annual Conference will be held on August 13th and 14th, 2024 on Colorado School of Mines campus at the CoorsTek Center for Applied Science and Engineering in Golden, CO.
Registration is FREE for students and the abstract submission deadline is June 28th.
In previous years, talks and posters have been on subjects such as semiconductors, thin films, high temperature materials, metal oxides and nitrides, fuel cells, photovoltaics, battery materials, LEDs, additive manufacturing, and much more. Please check out the technical program from last year on the conference website to get a better idea of talks and posters at this conference. This is the largest annual technical ceramics conference in the Rocky Mountain Region! Attendees last year included NREL, NIST, as well as students from other Colorado universities. Additionally, industry professionals from companies such as Heraeus and Deltech also attended, and this year the conference will also feature an industry/student mixer event. This will be a great opportunity to network and collaborate at a FREE event.
Please reach out to Jaime Tellez Gonzalez (jtellezgonzalez@mines.edu) if you have any questions, and visit the CCAC 2024 Conference website for more details.
