Help shape student well-being on campus! Apply to become an instructor for CSM 202: Intro to Student Well-Being for fall.
Join us in shaping student well-being on campus! Student Wellness Promotion and Education is seeking 12 faculty and staff instructors for CSM 202: Introduction to Student Well-Being for Fall 2024! As a CSM 202 Instructor, you’ll have the role of leading a teaching team, including two teaching assistants, in delivering engaging lessons on the seven interconnected dimensions of well-being: physical, emotional, social, environmental, spiritual, financial, and intellectual. Additionally, you’ll be discussing critical topics of suicide prevention, resilience, substance use, help-seeking, and healthy relationships. Lastly, you'll provide feedback on students' semester-long project the well-being plan, helping them develop tangible strategies for thriving at Mines and beyond. Instructors must be able to commit approximately 3 hours per week and will receive a stipend of $850 at the end of the semester. Applications close on June 28th.
