Coping & Connecting Through Change- Undergrad Support Group
Department / Organization: Counseling Center
Weekly support for undergrad students adapting to college life. Attend the Open House to learn more!
Undergraduate students only! Join us for an Open House on Thursday, Aug 29th with free pizza (while supplies last), swag and greetings from Counseling Center staff to learn more about Coping & Connecting Through Change Undergrad Support Group. Group meets every Thursday at 3:00pm in the Wellness Center 2nd floor Conference Room during fall semester.
Undergraduates face many challenges and changes throughout their journey at Mines, including adjusting to new living situations, dealing with increased academic stress, going through changes with relationships, and finding an internship or job.
This group is a confidential place where you can share your experiences with other undergraduate students, find connection with peers and learn valuable coping skills to manage the stress, anxiety, and depression that often come when you feel off balance. This drop-in group meets weekly throughout the semester and is facilitated by professionals from the Counseling Center.
Facilitated by Mines University Counselors and Clinical Interns.
