SWiC is hosting a breakfast with the Chemistry Dept. speaker Dr. Leite
The Society of Women in Chemistry + Allies (SWiC) invites you to meet with the visiting speaker from the Department of Chemistry's weekly seminars on the morning of Friday Oct. 4th. This week we are meeting with Prof. Marina S. Leite from the Dept. of Material Science and Engineering at the University of California-Davis. These informal socials are designed to provide opportunities for students and postdocs to meet visiting speakers. There is no set discussion topic: discussions can range from career trajectory, science, work-life balance, diversity in STEM, or anything else. This event is sponsored by SWiC and the Department of Chemistry, and we welcome students, postdocs, and speakers of all identities to the event.
