A multi-university competition challenging students to solve real-world business problems an interdisciplinary approach

Are you interested in working in an interdisciplinary environment to solve real-world problems? Are you interested in bridging the divide between engineering and business? The Tenaska Business Challenge is a case competition hosted by the University of Nebraska College of Business. This multi-university competition will challenge students to solve real problems through interdisciplinary solutions. The case will be provided by Tenaska, one of the largest privately-held companies in the United States and a leader in the energy industry. The case will require teams to take a comprehensive business approach to provide a solution to a challenge faced by their business. The multidisciplinary case will feature a topic and deliverables that can be successfully completed using general critical thinking, investigative, and business skills. No prior knowledge within a certain discipline is required to complete the case requirements.
