Take 10 minutes a day to spend on your Physical Wellness in December
Healthy 10 Challenge
The December monthly challenge, for both students and employees, is to spend 10 minutes daily doing an activity to promote your physical wellness. Physical wellness encompasses adequate sleep and hydration, healthy meals and snacks, good self-care habits, disease prevention, physical movement and managing stress.
You may want to take a 10-minute walking break during the afternoon for physical movement and managing stress; or you may want to spend 10 minutes making an overdue doctor appointment for disease prevention; or take 10 minutes preparing a healthy, balanced lunch to bring to work/school. Self-care is a necessity - making small, consistent changes to improve your physical wellness may seem insignificant at first, but over time, those small steps will add up to significant, lasting health benefits.
