International Student Travel Signatures

Need a travel signature for your I/20 or DS 2019? Submit a reprint request on your international student portal!
If you are traveling outside of the United States during the winter break, you are responsible for asking for a travel signature.
ISSS will be closed from December 25 - January 1. PLEASE REQUEST A TRAVEL SIGNATURE NOW!!!!! TO AVOID TRAVEL EMERGENCIES!
TO GET A TRAVEL SIGNATURE: Go to your international student portal and select "reprint I-20/Ds-2019 request." Choose "travel" for the reason. Once I digitally sign the document, it will be uploaded to your international student portal and you'll receive an email telling you it is ready. No need to come to the office for a wet signature. Once you get the email from me, you need to print the document out and sign it. CBP expects you to have a paper copy with you.
A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER: -Travel signatures on I-20s last 1 year. They last 6 months on a DS-2019. If your travel signature is less than 6 months old, no need to request a new one at this time. -Travel signatures are NOT required if you are traveling inside the US. -If you are traveling somewhere other than your home country, you are responsible for determining if a visa is needed.
