Prioritize Reuse Over Recycling
Looking for a new year resolution? Prioritize reuse over recycling to reduce plastic pollution and waste on campus.
• Carry a refillable water bottle (most buildings at Mines have a water-bottle refill station). • Bring lunch from home in glass or other reusable containers and save money too. • Bring reusable grocery store bags and produce bags with you to the grocery store. • Refill grocery staples, shampoos, oils, and more at a bulk goods store with reusable containers.
