Are you new to SWE and looking for guidance through the Mines experience? Do you want to share what you’ve learned from your experience at Mines so far through a meaningful relationship? Do you want advice as you determine your intended major? Are you seeking deeper connections within the community of women at Mines? Then the SWE Mentorship Program is just the place for you! Mentors and mentees will be placed in mentorship groups (or 1:1 pairings) of around four based on either interest or major. Monthly SWE mentorship events each include an educational discussion, and a fun event will help mentors and mentees get to know each other. Events from Fall 2024 included friendship bracelet making and cookie decorating! Outside of these events, mentors and mentees will meet to dive deeper into their career, educational, and social experiences at Mines – or just chat about their day!
