Department / Organization: ISSS
Ensure you are enrolled as a full-time student this semester to avoid immigration trouble by clicking on the link
Undergrads not graduating this term – You need to be enrolled in at least 12 credits. If you only enroll in 12 credits, at least 9 of those need to be in-person credits. You can do more than 12 credits if you wish.
Graduate students not graduating this term: You need to be enrolled in at least 9 credits. If you only enroll in 9 credits, at least 6 of those need to be in-person credits. You can do more than 9 credits if you wish.
Master’s thesis and PhD students who qualify for reduced registration need to be sure this is in place with OGS. You will not be able to take less than 9 credits if you fail to arrange reduced registration with OGS.
Students graduating in the spring – If it is your final semester and you have less than the full number of credits left to take, you need to get immigration permission to take less than the full number of credits.
Concurrent Enrollment - If you will be taking classes at another institution (e.g. Red Rocks Community College) and you need those credits to be considered full-time for immigration purposes, you must submit a Concurrent Enrollment request in your International Student Portal. This must be submitted and approved before the end of ADD/DROP day each term.
