Skill Building Series: Engineering College Success

This 3-week series will provide students with practical tools for improving their executive functioning in college
Engineering College Success will be held in the Counseling Center from 4:00-5:00 PM on 1/15, 1/22, and 1/29. The 3-part workshop will provide psychoeducation on brain science and offer practical tools and strategies to improve executive functioning skills including task initiation, focus, emotional regulation, organizational skills, and work efficiency in college.
The three sessions are divided into content that builds upon itself. The modules are dedicated to (1) supporting self-regulation (2) optimizing our environment and (3) utilizing organization and management tools / strategies. By the end of the series, you will have a better understanding of how executive skills impact academic and daily functioning and the ability to establish a formula to support college success.
This is an IN PERSON program from the Mines Counseling Center. Students must register via the website link below and attend the first session in order to attend the whole series.
