Office of Undergraduate Research's Emerging Scholar Seminars discuss topics of interest to undergraduate research at Mines

You're invited to attend an upcoming Emerging Scholar Seminar on Thursday, February 6th from 12-12:50PM in McNeil 213 titled "Navigating the Path to Scholarly Recognition: A Workshop on Publishing Your Research".

For undergraduate students, the prospect of publishing research is often considered the pinnacle of scholarly achievement. While serendipity may occasionally play a role, a deeper understanding of the publication process is essential to navigate this academic milestone systematically. In this workshop, we explore the critical questions surrounding research publication, providing aspiring scholars with the tools and understanding needed to proactively prepare for and embark on their publishing journey Participants will gain valuable knowledge on the why, when, where, and how of publishing an article.

This event is part of the Emerging Scholar Seminar Series, which offers biweekly seminars on various topics of interest to undergraduate student researchers at Mines. Any interested undergraduate students are encouraged to attend these free, biweekly seminars.
