You're invited to attend an upcoming Emerging Scholar Seminar on Wednesday, February 19th from 4-4:50PM in McNeil 213 titled "Maximizing the Undergraduate Research Experience: Navigating the Mentor/Mentee Relationship".
Engaging in undergraduate research is a transformative journey, and the dynamics of the mentor/mentee relationship play a significant role in fostering a culture of belonging and shaping the research experience. In this session, participants will delve into the foundations of effective mentorship, exploring key elements that contribute to a successful collaboration. From setting clear expectations to fostering open communication, this workshop will provide practical insights on how both mentors and mentees can contribute to a positive and enriching research experience.
This event is part of the Emerging Scholar Seminar Series, which offers biweekly seminars on various topics of interest to undergraduate student researchers at Mines. Any interested undergraduate students are encouraged to attend these free, biweekly seminars.
