Come learn how to West Coast Swing with a professional instructor! No experience or partner necessary!
Lesson will be an hour long (12-1PM) in the Isaacs Room in the SRC (room right next to the gym).
West Coast Swing is a smooth and versatile partner dance that evolved from Lindy Hop, characterized by its elastic connection, slot-based movement, and improvisational style. Danced to a wide variety of music genres, it allows for both structural patterns and playful creativity between partners. If you are looking for a more versatile style of dance that is easy to learn, West Coast is for you! Everyone is welcome, no partner or experience is necessary!
