Dear CSM students: I would like to make you aware of the following "space-age" course for the Fall:
Introduction to Space Exploration EGGN 408 (CRN 84045) Mondays, 6:00 - 6:50 PM Credit hours: 1 Prerequisites: None Course level: Any student from any department at any level can register
This course gives an overview of all facets of human and robotic space exploration, including its history, current projects, and future plans and opportunities. Topics include: the space environment, transportation systems, destinations (Earth orbit, Moon, planets, asteroids, comets, universe), current missions, space resources, astrobiology, international participation, space policy, and the emerging private space industry. This class is part of the Space Area of Special Interest (http://spse.mines.edu).
