Join Us for Authentic Communication: Presentation and Luncheon Featuring Frank Snieder
Department / Organization: Geophysics and Diversity & Inclusion
In this entertaining and educational workshop, Frank Snieder will present five styles for authentic communication and will provide an overview of how communication is affected by brain development.
Learn how authentic communication occurs when the brain (intention), non-verbal behavior, and the resulting words are well aligned. During this presentation, you will receive an overview of how communication is affected by our brain development, physical development, and survival strategies. The goal is for each person to gain more insight regarding their communication styles.
PRESENTER: Frank Snieder has worked for over 25 years as consultant and trainer in communication. Personal development, reflection on behavior, self-awareness, positive reinforcement, and challenging participants to get out of their comfort zone are part of his methodology. Frank firmly believes in continuous learning, and has specialized in recent years on team performance and mindfulness which led to his work on Authentic Communication. He receives the most satisfaction from his work when participants increase their communication and management skills so that they have more options for effective behavior.
