Apply for Sustainable Energy@ Mines Scholar Distinction
Department / Organization: Sustainable Energy@Mines
If you are graduating this semester, you may be eligible for Sustainable Energy @ Mines Graduation Distinction!
Are you graduating this semester? Have you completed internships or research in energy efficiency, renewable energy, energy equity, and energy storage? Have you taken classes in these fields and/or been part of a related energy club? If so, you might be eligible for a Sustainable Energy@ Mines Scholar Distinction!
Sustainable Energy@Mines (SE@M) Scholar Distinction “build your own” program honors and supports our community of students from different majors focused on exploring and shifting the landscape on sustainable energy: sustainable and affordable buildings/communities, renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind), energy storage, policy and business solutions for sustainable systems and energy equity. Successful SE@M distinction scholars will meet a minimum number of points based on the merits, impact, and relevance from three categories: LEARN (e.g. courses), PRACTICE (e.g. internships), and BUILD COMMUNITY (e.g. leadership in students’ organizations). Visit https://www.mines.edu/sustainable-energy/admissions/ to learn more.
Applications for Spring 2025 graduates are due by Friday, March 28th, 2025.
