Grandin is a professor of animal science at Colorado State University and a bestselling author. Diagnosed with autism as a child, she has worked to champion more acceptance and understanding on behalf of those with autism. Last year, she was chosen by the Denver Business Journal as its 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award winner and was named 2025 Woman of the Year by USA Today.
