OreSec Burro Defense Competition

OreSec is running a cyber-defense competition on April 19th. This competition is for Mines students only.
The Burro Defense Competition will be run on April 19th. This is a beginner-friendly cyber defense competition that allows students to test their network security skills against a live red team. This will be a very useful experience and should provide students with a fun, hands-on competitive exercise. The competition will take place on April 19th from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with lunch offered during the competition. Participants can either sign up as a full team of 3-4 members OR sign up as individuals to be teamed up with others the week before the competition. No experience is necessary, and OreSec will have compiled a list of resources to explore before the competition to prepare. If you have questions, please send them to oresec@mines.edu
