TRAVEL THE WORLD IN LATE-JUNE/JULY! HASS 410 (SUMMER TWO)
Department / Organization: HASS
INTERESTED IN MODERN AMERICAN AND EUROPEAN FILM, ARCHITECTURE, ART AND LITERATURE? SAVE A PLACE IN HASS 410
This summer's version of HASS 410: "Critical Perspectives on 20th-Century Literature" invites students to journey across the Americas and Europe through readings of short modernist and postmodern classics, and engagement with distinct achievements and transformations in filmmaking, photography, painting and architecture.
Syllabus is designed with flexibility to give students latitude and freedom to pursue their cultural, geographical, or philosophical passions. And to enjoy their favorite seasonal activities, or tackle other responsibilities, at the same time as they complete their upper-level humanities requirement, in a straightforward, stimulating way.
