Implications of the Trump Administration's Orders and Actions, 5 pm April 22
Prof. Farrell (Sturm College of Law, University of Denver) will help us understand the constitutional issues raised by these changes and how to assess this complex situation as it continues to unfold. He will give a presentation after which you can pose your questions.
The Trump administration has been issuing executive orders and taking actions that are raising issues about whether these actions are legal. Actions include freezing federal grant funding to universities; deporting students; ending diversity, equity, and inclusion policies; giving Elon Musk access to sensitive data; ending birthright citizenship; and rolling back environmental protections and student loan relief, among other actions.
