Enjoy an update on several exciting ongoing activities from Quantum@Mines Director, Dr. Fred Sarazin.
“Quantum” these days is short for “Quantum Information Science and Technology” (QIST) and represents an entire field of new applications in quantum computers, quantum communication, quantum sensors, etc. All those applications rely on foundational aspects of quantum mechanics, such as superposition, entanglement and interference but applied in new and innovative ways.
Colorado is THE quantum tech hub of the nation with a strong ecosystem of academic institutions, federal laboratories and private companies focused on advancing quantum science and engineering.
Join us as we visit with Director of Quantum@Mines, Dr. Fred Sarazin, who will further illustrate the concept of Quantum and provide highlights of several exciting ongoing activities.
