SAVE YOUR PLACE IN HASS 418 (SUMMER ONE). This version of "Narrating the Nation" will be a stimulating, pleasurable way to tackle your upper-level humanities requirement. Only one assigned reading. This is the novel "Snow"--Nobel Laureate Orhan Pamuk's experimental, multidisciplinary political thriller/science fiction masterpiece.

Course is designed flexibly so students can enjoy the pleasures of late-May and June, and/or simultaneously fulfill other coursework or professional responsibilities.

Compelling reading, two short essays, stimulating discussions, compelling visual-geographical media.
