Geophysics Field Session - Campus Presentation
Department / Organization: Geophysics
Come support the Geophysics students as they share their data and experiences gained in the field in Steamboat Springs!
You're invited to attend the Geophysics Field Camp student presentations on June 5th from 2pm - 4pm in Brown W280!
Our students spend two weeks in the field, with this year's session based in Steamboat Springs, CO. Students begin with a geological study of the area, using geophysical methods like seismic, gravity, electromagnetics, self-potential, resistivity, and ground penetrating radar to gather data. They then return to the Mines campus for the second half of the course, where they process and interpret the data they collected. Come hear about what they found!
